Behind the scenes

Hello Dearies,

I love playing with colors and so today I am working on a project involving mayhem of colors shades. The title "Behind the scenes" was chosen as the thought while creating this piece was a girl sneaking, hidden behind the wall. Hope I did justice to my own thought ...what say??

Like my previous post this one is also made with almost all with itsy bitsy products :-)

So here we begin ....

I took a mini canvas and base coated with gesso. I used modelling paste and stencils to create background textures.

I used spray paints to create effects in background.

Then used some metallic paints here and there until I got the desired effect. Our canvas is now ready for some more decoration.

I used stamps from to create embellishments (figurine and leaves). To create embellishment from stamp, I stamped on card stock and painted it using distress inks and brush. Then cut and use glue dot adhesive to give it dimension when sticking on base board. And fences painted in white.

Then arranged all embellishment on the canvas base I created.

Here is what it looks like :-)

Do not forget to leave your comments :-) Thank you for visiting the post.

Good Time Ahead !!

Hello Crafters,

My love for vintage and distress effect has lead me thinking and finally creating this ...

I have used most of the stuff from itsy bitsy (an online craft item store).

Lets get started !!

i . I have taken a card stock and using scissors scrubbed the edges of it.

ii. I have distressed the edges with Vintage photo ranger distress ink and used a lighter shade for distressing the card surface along with lots of water sprayed on it.

iii. Then some stamping on the card base using archival inks and map stamps and followed with some texture using stencil from my stash.

iv. I have used stencils to create embellishments. The arrows were stamped and painted and then cut separately.

v. I have then used dies from itsy bitsy to create the clock die cut and colored it using metallic colors.

vi. Arranged all embellishments together on card and Voila .. the card is ready !!

Hope you enjoyed the process and card. Thank you for stopping by :-)
